His brother, Gianni Agnelli, was the head of Fiat until 1996. He studied at Harvard University in the U.S.A. Unlike the other members of the family, he could not participate in industrial and financial activities due to a serious illness. He died at the age of only 35 in a Swiss clinic at Lake Geneva, where he had been treated for a long time.〔M. Ripa di Meana e G.
